The United Nations General Assembly designated eleven December “International Mountain Day”. Rising over eight,500 toes above its surrounding desert valley in southwestern Utah, the beautifully snowcapped La Sal Mountains stands as a hanging distinction to the pink rock Canyonlands and Arches National Parks under.
